SCRUDRAIN
   
Working Principles :
SCRUDRAIN thickeners manufactured by TEKNOFANGHI® are the modern and economical solution to sludge thickening.
The principal and clear advantage of the SCRUDRAIN thickeners is the use of an Archimedean screw instead of only the conventional drum filter. The filter cloth made of polyester is fixed to the Archimedean screw, making a drum with a screw inside.
SCRUDRAIN thickeners are supplied complete with control panel, washing pump and all ancillary equipment necessary for efficient operation. The SCRUDRAIN thickeners are supplied as complete assembled and tested units in order to minimise installation time and costs.
On keeping of the usual TEKNOFANGHI's high standard, the equipment is made with non-corrodible materials, and all the metallic parts in AISI 304 stainless steel.

TEKNOBAG DRAIMAD
   
Working Principle :
The TEKNOBAG®-DRAIMAD® system facilitates the dewatering of any sludge coming from waste water treatment plants using disposable bags,accordance with the TEKNOFANGHI patent.
This system is modular and is designed to optimise the filling and initial dewatering cycle of the filter bags. Once this cycle is over the filter bags will be removed sealed and stored in the open air for a further period of dehydration, reducing the weight and volume of the sludge cake.
The special water repellent material of the sacks prevents rainwater from entering but allows dehydration of the contents by evaporation.
Modules can be fitted with a control panel which can automate the filling cycle and is also capable of controlling the pressurisation of the process. An option which, if fitted, can maximise the filtering capacity of the machines.
In common with other dewatering processes the selection of the best flocculent is an essential prerequisite to achieving the optimum results.

Working Principles :
The MONOBELT® belt filter press dewaters the sludges produced in Wastewater Treatment Plants.
This series of belt filter presses are designed by TEKNOFANGHI based on a totally new construction principle covered by patent.
TEKNOFANGHI's extensive experience in sludge handling has allowed the company to produce this innovative belt press. Results obtained from existing installations confirm that, as well as producing dryer cake than traditional equipment, using the same width of filter cloth, a higher sludge throughput can also be obtained. The use of only one cloth in tension together with the unit's unique design, allows for rapid and simple maintenance and associated cost reduction.
The MONOBELT® system is composed by two units: the pre-thickener, and the sludge press.
The pre-thickener performs the initial solid/liquid separation stage.
The sludge press takes pre-thickened sludge, spreads it on the filter cloth, and using a hollow cylinder presses it to obtain a cake with high solid concentration.

SCRUFILTER
   
Working Principle :
SCRUFILTER® dynamic filters manufactured by TEKNOFANGHI® are the modern and economical solution to water micro-filtering.
The compact SCRUFILTER® units can be used in many applications of micro-filtration in order to reduce fine suspended solids from water down to 20 microns. The reduction of suspended solids is accompanied by a reduction in COD, BOD5, phosphorus, nitrates and other substances. In the case of further treatment with UV for disinfection it is important to reduce the turbidity caused by suspended solids.
The filter cloth is selected according to the requirements which can be 20 - 30 - 40 - 60 - 80 or 100 microns.
On special request different filter sizes can be produced.
Function:
The water enters into the filter-drum, passes through a special cone and is discharged on the filter cloth. The water passes through the filter cloth by gravity while suspended solids large enough are retained on the filter cloth. The drum rotates continuously while the filter cloth is continuously washed by a series of nozzles which spray water onto the external surface of the drum. The filtered water used for washing is pressurized by the washing pump included in the unit. The retained solids inside the drum are transported to the opposite end of the drum by an Archimedean screw, which is part of the drum. The solids discharged at the end of the drum can be removed by gravity or by making use of a suitable pump (optional).
The drum is complete with an emergency overflow system, which operates in case that of the maximum flow rate is exceeded or when the amount of solids are too high. The overflow system conveys the overflow water directly into the solids discharge tank. In this way the filtered water is not contaminated by solids. This ensures that the quality of the filtered water is maintained.
Standard filters are produced with supports in ABS and filter cloths in polyester. These can also be produced completely in stainless steel.
